The future is dark, which is on the whole, the best thing the future can be, I think.

Dear all,
we are very excited to hold the next two sessions at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien within the "Capitalo, Chthulu, and a Much Hotter Compost Pile" program.
As an entry to the content of the exhibition we title the two sessions “Hope” and “Grief”.
In session #10 on May 30 we talk about grief with Londa Schiebinger's 'Plants and Empire - Colonial Bioprospecting in the Atlantic World', looking at some of the roots of colonial struggles.
In session #11 on June 6 we talk about hope with Rebecca Solnit's 'Hope in the Dark - Untold Histories Wild Possibilities'.
Robert Macfarlane says about the book:
"A short, elegant, passionate polemic on the history and future of progressive political engagement."
